Answers

Q: When did you start performing magic?

Priscilla: I've been performing magic longer then just about anyone. I was performing magic even before I was born. I'm not kidding! The fact is, when my mother was pregnant with me, she was performing with my father. I was definitely born to perform magic. (laughs) Seriously, I started performing magic in the year 2001, when I was determined to perform card manipulation and the linking rings on stage. That was the start of my journey in magic.

Q: Is it easy to perform stage illusions?
Priscilla: My art is extremely dangerous. Every night on stage, my life is in danger. The swords and razor sharp blades used in our performances are very real. I also float in the air 20 feet above the stage. Levitation takes supreme concentration. Losing focus for a second will jeopardize the performance and endanger my life.

Q: Is it pressurizing to perform on stage with your own father?
Priscilla: Well, imagine yourself performing in front of your parents. What more performing with your own father! It is the expectations, spoken or unspoken, perceived or real, not just from my parents but from myself too.

Q: Are there any perks?
Priscilla: Even though I am young, I've had countless opportunities to travel and perform all over the world. I consider that a very rare opportunity for someone my age.

Q: Why do you like magic?
Priscilla: Magic is real and it is a very symbolic rare art form. Magic is a metaphor for life. It reminds us that all things change, especially us. Performing magic is like living out a fantasy, where we are free from physical restrictions, and I as a magician can do unexplainable things. I hope that audiences watch our show will have a magical experience. And to really experience magic, you have to come to the theatre to experience it live.
