In the story, Lawrence and Priscilla are father and daughter, a pair of brilliant magicians with a successful and long-running show. However, the dark side of fame and a sinister plot manipulates Priscilla into
turning against her father. She chooses to run away from all that she has ever known, only to discover that she has played into the hands of an evil nemesis.
